St. Vincent de Paul Society
The St. Vincent de Paul Conference at Mary Queen of Peace provides food (dry goods, canned good, personal care items, etc.) and clothing for those in our area who have come upon hard times and need assistance for their families. Non-perishable items are left in the vestibule of the church and are collected daily. Monetary gifts can be offered during monthly mass collections, or left at the parish office. All those being served by the St. Vincent de Paul appreciate your generosity and prayers.
To volunteer for St. Vincent de Paul, or for more information, please contact the Parish Office.
If you are in need of assistance, food orders are taken every Tuesday by phone. The number is 741-8976. Telephone lines open at 8:30. 15 food orders are taken, so call as close to 8:30 am as possible. Orders are taken on Tuesday until the 15 orders are filled.
The food order is picked up the following Saturday from 10-11 am in the MQOP Community Center.
Clients must live in the area we serve, and must have a picture ID and a copy of the lease or piece of mail to show proof of address.
Clients may receive food 3 times a year, but not twice in the same month.
