Fr. Joseph, born in Trichur, Kerala, India, was ordained a priest on January 2, 1994, as a Carmelite of Mary Immaculate.  He attended major seminary at Dharmaram College in Bangalore, India.

In the Kalyan Diocese in Mumbai, India, Fr. Joseph served as a parish priest, a school headmaster, and the Director of an Orphanage.  For 11 years, he served in New Zealand as an English-speaking parish priest, and he established 8 Syro-Malabar parish communities all over New Zealand that he supported by saying Mass monthly for each one during his time there.  Then in the Jalgaon District of India, Fr. Joseph again served as a parish priest and Director of an Orphanage. 

Fr. Joseph arrived in the United States in November, 2024 and became the Administrator of Mary Queen of Peace Parish on December 16, 2024.
