Notre Dame Academy is a regional school supported by both Mary Queen of Peace and St. Lawrence. At a crucial time when Catholic schools in Southwest Louisville seemed to be disappearing, both parishes came together in a commitment to ensure that excellence in Catholic education would survive and thrive in our area. Under the patronage of Our Lady and serving grades K-8, NDA opened its doors in the fall of 2004. Notre Dame adopted the Fleur-de-Lis as its symbol, red, white, and blue as its colors, and the Saints as its mascot. Active parishioners at both parishes are offered tuition discounts for their students. With the aid of the Catholic Education Foundation, Notre Dame Academy strives to provide high-quality Catholic formation for those who seek it.
