A story is told about St. Jean-Marie-Baptiste Vianney (The cure' of Ars) a 19th century French priest who once noticed a peasant come in to the church and stay for hours in front of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. The Saint asked this man what do you say during all that time before Jesus in the Eucharist? The Peasant replied, "Nothing, I look at Him and He looks at me."

St. Alphonsus Liguori wrote: “Of all devotions, that of adoring Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is the greatest after the Sacraments, the one dearest to God and the one most helpful to us”.

Eucharistic Adoration is held on the First Friday of each month following morning Mass and on the first weekend of each month after the Masses.
