Ministers assist the priest by distributing the Body and Blood of Christ during Mass.

New ministers must attend a two 2 hour training session conducted by the Archdiocesan Office of Worship, after which you will receive a 5 year mandate from the Archbishop. A 2 hour refresher course is required after 5 year mandate expires. Some ministers also bring Holy Communion to the homebound and residents of Georgetown Manor and Summerfield nursing homes.
